Shoot Type: Engagement

Location: Golden Gardens

I photographed Misti and Scott’s engagement photo session at Golden Gardens on a beautiful, sunny Seattle evening. The love they have for each other is so apparent in their interaction with one another and I was able to truly capture this as the couple enjoyed a beautiful spring afternoon together.

This sweet couple will be getting married in July at the Broadmoor Club. Be sure to check back for a posting on their wedding. I can already tell it’s going to be amazing!!

Creative Head Clearing: GoPro Style

Mountain therapy with Jim Garner. Best way to clear the head and get creatively inspired! This was all shot with our GoPro HD cameras. What I’m Loving

One of the great things about the GoPro camera is how easy it is to use and how almost indestructible it is. My 4yr. can grab it and take photos with it and I really don’t worry about it. One shutter button and that’s all prefect for them to start learning.

McDougall’s FAMILY Album

I’m a Visual Storyteller, PERIOD.

Here’s what I mean by that. Taking individual photos is easy these days for anyone to do but intentionally shooting with a story in mind is altogether different. Like my wedding clients, my family clients deserve more than just a CD of images, they deserve to have a small piece of their family story told and made into a book. We experience life together with our families, making memories that will last forever. When I go into a session with families I tell them that we are shooting a story not just individual photos.

The McDougall’s every year spend an afternoon together having another story told. Enjoy this one…

I hope you enjoyed. I’m excited about spring family sessions with all the cherry blossoms on there way.
